Wool Envelopes
This product has an inner layer made of wool, which provides protection for fragile items, as well as water repellency and resistance to temperature extremes. The top layer is made of recycled paper and can be customized with your logo.
The envelopes have a peel & seal closure and are available in three sizes.
Sizes:
L 280x390mm
M 210x300mm
S 150x210mm
Sizes refer to the inner measurements of the Wool Envelope.
Wool Boxes
Wool Boxes are made of renewable and recyclable materials: waste wool, cardboard and a small amount of polylactide acid (PLA, synthesised from corn) as a binding agent.
The boxes are made to order, so sizes and shapes can be customised.

See why Wool Envelopes are Tanel Veenre’s first choice for shipping out jewellery
Tanel Veenre is a colourful and experimental brand known for its jewellery. About a year ago, they switched from custom-designed plastic bubble envelopes to Wool Envelopes.
According to the founder Tanel, Wool Envelopes provide a simple, functional and sustainable way to protect their products during shipping.
Even more, the packaging helps showcase Tanel Veenre Jewellery brand values: “Wool Envelopes show our customers that we have a love for nature and design,” says Tanel.
Why wool?
Wool is a naturally high-tech fibre
Its elasticity, water repellency, and resistance to temperature extremes make wool a perfect material for packing items that need extra cushioning.
Still, a lot of wool goes to waste.
Up to 90% wool goes to waste across countries in Europe.
That’s a total of 200 000 tonnes of sheep wool that gets burned or buried in Europe each year. We’re putting that unused material to good use.
Read more about it here.
Single-use and
fossil fuels
Plastic is so 1926.
It has dominated the packaging industry for ages, but its decline is inevitable.
The industry is broken for two reasons: dependence on fossil fuels and the single-use mindset. We need to get rid of both to make packaging more sustainable.
