Woola at launch of La Maison des Startups LVMH

On September 11, LVMH Open Innovation launched the ninth season of its business acceleration program La Maison des Startups LVMH with a Live Session. The event welcomed a new cohort of startups in the heart of Paris’ STATION F.

For over 6 years, La Maison des Startups LVMH has been at the forefront of the Group’s entrepreneurship movement, helping startups develop new business opportunities with the 75 distinguished Houses (Maisons) of the Group and co-craft the future of luxury.

So far, the program has accelerated 210 startups and activated over 540 business collaborations. A few noteworthy sustainable packaging "alumni" of the accelerator include Paptic and Hipli.

Woola is one of the five startups joining the new cohort of La Maison des Startups LVMH in the Sustainability and Green Tech area.

The other five key innovation areas of the business accelerator program are: Employee Experience, Diversity & Inclusion – Image & Media for Brand Desirability – Immersive Digital Experiences – Omnichannel & Retail – Operations Excellence.

In June this year, Woola was announced as the “Sustainability & Greentech” category winner of the LVMH Innovation Award

“LVMH is one of the largest companies in Europe and it has committed to getting rid of fossil-based virgin plastic packaging by 2026,” said Anna-Liisa Palatu, the CEO and co-founder of Woola.

“Being a part of La Maison des Startups LVMH will help us work with the Houses to replace protective plastic packaging with wool. This is highly valuable to us and we’re excited to see where it will take us.”
